Scrap aims to provide a usable website for customers with different accessibility needs.

Implementation Approach

The website uses semantic headings, labelled form controls, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, descriptive image alternative text and strong colour contrast. ARIA attributes are used only where they add useful context.

Keyboard Navigation

Interactive elements are reachable by keyboard in a logical order. A skip link is provided at the start of each page to move directly to the main content.

Images and Content

Product images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative information is not used as the sole way to communicate important purchasing details.
